Weekend Coffee Share is a time for us to take a break out of our lives and enjoy some timely catching up with friends (old and new)!
If we were having coffee, I’d say that I had a good July 4th weekend. On Independence Day, we went to a neighbor’s barbecue – outside, distanced with 8 guests in all. My town and neighboring ones had Reverse Parades (aka Porch Parades) so I drove and walked around to see how people decorated their homes. Some families just put out a few small flags on the edge of their lawns, but others got more into the spirit of the event. These decorations offer cheer during a glum time. We need more of this.
My team made a short video for Evanston’s Virutal 4th of July Parade. You can watch below. I contributed the last part and edited it.
