On the Debates

Democratic-Debate-Night-1-Who-Won.jpg

I found the two debates frustrating to watch because the moderators did a poor job moderating. If any of them had experience like teaching where you must control people’s behavior, I think we could have learned more. Last night was a free for all.

Some candidates had a lot of time, others a few minutes. They soon realized if they kept talking loudly they’d prevail.

The moderators’ skills are in other areas and they looked weak compared to the candidates. The format of asking questions in no apparent order didn’t work.

The town halls are more informative, though time-consuming at this stage. Still I couldn’t sit through 2 hours of the melees.
