  1. There’s some serious cooking going on! I imagine a lot of the students at the Pratt Institute had a crush on their cooking teacher. And the Pure Lard label hits the bulls eye for this weekend’s sepia theme.

  2. Pure lard. It makes the flakiest pie crusts! But oh my, the cholesterol count! We once had blocks of it in our cupboard cooler when my uncle, who was in the navy, came home from a tour of duty and brought us several left over foodstuff items – including the lard. I don’t know if he was one of the cooks, though I imagine he might have been which is why he had access to so much of the leftovers?
