Sepia Saturday

Sepia Saturday 609

Ready for the beach?

Well, here it’s still in the 60’s and today it’s raining, mightily. We didn’t have electricity this morning and the pond out back is the highest I’ve seen it so I won’t be off to the beach.

Yet, I wanted to share some beach photos. I like the coloring on the first two.

Below you can make out the people more easily. The beach isn’t very crowded. Perhaps it was a chilly day.

  1. I also love the two old photos. And those tents in the first one are certainly unique! I would bet the third photo was taken in the morning. In my experience, nobody gets up and out to the beach and other attractions much before noon.

  2. The tents in the first photo are lovely, and in the second one the stoniness of the beach stands out. I don’t know how people walk in bare feet on that kind of beach, but I guess at that time no one did anyway. The third beach looks very pleasant. Hope your weather improves soon!
