Ghost images

This week’s prompt urges bloggers to delveinto the eerie realm of ghost images. In the Victorian and Edwardian eras people believed these ghosts that appeared in photos were spirits. Even though most were double exposures or such errors, they still give me the willies.

At first I thought it was the same woman, but…it could be a mother! The clothes are different eras, I think…

An absolutely spooky photograph whether fake or accident. I spent a moment trying to decipher the scrawl but no luck.

Yes that photo leaves more questions than answers! To me it looks like two ladies (sisters?) are sitting side by side and then there are two different ghostly people superimposed on top?

I think the writing says S Gillert, not that it helps with any explanation of this very odd photograph.

Wow – that’s quite the quadruple exposure! The first is the daughter & mother – or perhaps two sisters, & over lapping them are a woman’s smiling face, and what appears to to a man’s face above her, & another man’s head wearing a hat, below?

It’s a strange one for sure, but fits the prompt nicely.
