Harbin’s Ice Festival

I visited Harbin, China’s “Russian” city last summer. While the people were pretty gruff, it’s a fun city to explore. If I weren’t such a hot house flower, who loves to stay warm in winter, I’d take in Harbin’s Ice Festival and Sopporo’s Snow Festival. The sculptures range from majestic to charming so who wouldn’t be entranced.

Still I’d rather sip a hot drink in a warm room and watch the snow.

Really amazing! But too cold for me also. I was cold just watching it. And if the river is frozen it is definitely too cold for me! I think I remember your post about the city.
