Sepia Saturday

This week’s prompt inspired me to share some photos I took yesterday at a living museum or restored village called Zhujiayu in Shandong Province, China. They have a group of buildings that were where the youth were educated about peasants’ ways during the Cultural Revolution.

  1. A very interesting take on the prompt and good photos. Interesting, too, how the guitar and basketball don’t really look out of place. Cultures interact and share in these times ever more which lends hope to the world to follow.

    • You’re right. The guitar and basketball (btw there was a basket out in the courtyard) made the experience seem more balanced. Not just work and ideology all day long.

  2. A totally unexpected take on the post with photos from today that nevertheless fit so well. So of our pampered Western students would be horrified.
