1. Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog (a new post!) anytime before the following Friday when the next photo theme will be announced.

2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use the “postaday″ tag.

3. Follow The Daily Post so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements, and subscribe to our newsletter – we’ll highlight great photos from each month’s most popular challenge.

  3. For me, your last image really reflects the idea behind the “Threshold” theme. I really love this image.

Hope it’s okay to leave you with a helpful tip or two?

I would have moved the box and bottles seen in the bottom left corner of the image. For me they are a distraction. How so? They are out of place when your main subject are the entry-way, doors, and the courtyard. They are rather bright. Typically our eye’s are 1st drawn to the brightest item(s) in an image. [Note: The bright, red stool just inside the courtyard is perfect. It pulls my eye into your image.]

You can always move, place, or remove items in your planned image. Ask yourself: “Does this item add to or take away from my main subject?”

Again, third image is very good.
