Garfield Park Conservatory

DSCN0141

A friend came to visit last weekend and I thought we needed to see some greenery in gray, gloomy January. I’d heard of Garfield Park’s conservatory, but never went there. It turned out to ba a great place to spend a Saturday. They offer a lot of activities for children – play areas, crafts and scavenger hunts. My friends and I just reveled in the lush, humid atmosphere.

What a wonderful place to run away to on a dreary day! It lifted my spirits just seeing the photos.
