What Blogging Has Taught Me

I was kind of cynical about starting a blog back in the day but I'm glad I did---here's why:

  • Blogging makes me see my life differently: Ever since I started blogging, I've seen my life as a story I'm telling other people. Because I want to tell a good story I'm always on the lookout for the funny, the silly, the beautiful, the meaningful---the moments that help me connect with others and share my story in a way that interest them.

I found myself nodding in agreement. I'd add that I indulge in the occasional soap box aspect of blogging.
