The Mint’s on the Pillow

Trader Joe's Green Tea Mints

The ESL director is coming here for observations and meetings. She’s staying with me and I’ve found that that preparing for her visit has taken my mind off the usual woe and intrigue that make this job so horrid. I’m all set for the visitor, but not so sure about the drama that will most likely ensue. I wish I could say “This will be interesting” even facetiously. I’m just so shindoi (Kansai dialect for tired, body and soul) to muster that humor.

At the bedside, just like Martha Stewart says, a little plant, light reading, A/C remote, pen and paper.

The Manor Life

I still haven’t seen any stables — or kids dressed like this.

We do have good landscaping. Here are some photos from the “Forest of the Peninsula.”
