On your mark, get set, go!
I’ve finished 7 pages of a writing challenge known as Script Frenzy. Participants try to write a 100 page script in 30 days.
I started off by getting a cappuccino and getting 7 pages written of a movie version of my novel. I actually started off in a different way, which has led me to new ideas.
Frenzy is the right word and I hope it’ll kick start my writing. The idea is not to expect or even aim at perfection, which can be a pitfall I know far too well. Instead one just writes and later goes back to refine.
The website allows one to display progress and contains helpful resources and fora to chat with fellow frenzied writers. The communal spirit encourages me.
